Pathway 1 – Baccalaureate
Students study four subjects at A/S level or equivalent in Year 12, progressing with 3 A2 or equivalent courses in Year 13. They also take General Studies and the Extended Project leading to the AQA Baccalaureate award in Year 13. At least one subject followed over the two years would be from Mathematics or the Creative and Expressive Arts specialist block. Students also follow an enrichment programme which includes the options of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Community Service or CCF.
Pathway 2 – Advanced Students wishing to pursue an Advanced Level Course in Mathematics must have achieved a minimum of Grade A in Mathematics at GCSE. Pathway 3 – Transition Students study 1 subject at A/S level or equivalent and two subjects at Level 2 in Year 12. At least one subject would be from the Creative and Expressive Arts or Mathematics specialist block. They also study an enrichment programme which includes the options of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Community Service or CCF. There is the option for progression onto additional Level 3 courses in Year 13.
